The Karst Trail is a 250-kilometre signposted and marked trail, which stretches from the Lower Saxony Förste at Osterode through the District of Nordhausen, in Thuringia, Germany after Pölsfeld at Sangerhausen in Saxony-Anhalt. The Karst Trail opens up one of the most interesting areas of the biosphere reserve of the boundary with Thuringia in Uftrungen to the eastern end. The interested hikers can explore numerous typical Karst natural phenomena like caves, dolines, sinkholes, springs, Bach shrinkage and plaster rock. Of course, we offer guided hikes for specific topics, field trips and much more.
"Three countries--a way" Arbeitsgemeinschaft and regularly guided tours offer the biosphere reserve. In addition are certified nature and landscape guide as a trained hiking guides available.
